Peter Lang holds a Bachelor in Architecture from Syracuse University (1980) and a Ph.D. in history and urbanism from NYU (2000). A Fulbright Fellow, Lang is Associate Professor with the Department of Architecture at Texas A&M University in College Station. From the Fall of 2001 to the Spring of 2009 he served as permanent Texas A&M faculty at the Santa Chiara Center in Castiglion Fiorentino, Italy. He writes on the history of post-war Italian architecture, with a focus on Italian experimental design from the sixties. Lang is an active member of Stalker/ON, the urban arts and architecture research group based in Rome.
